Services
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive counseling — delivered as one integrated service.
Specialties
A short list of what I most often help with. If your situation isn't here, reach out — chances are I can either help or refer you well.
Anxiety
Generalized anxiety, panic, social anxiety, and stress-related conditions. Treatment typically combines evidence-based medication management with skills work and, when appropriate, referral to a CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) or EMDR therapist. We monitor for side effects, dose response, and progress at every visit so the plan stays calibrated to where you actually are.
Mood disorders
Depression, bipolar disorder, persistent depressive disorder, and seasonal patterns — from accurate diagnosis through long-term care. We focus on getting the right diagnosis before the right medication, because mood disorders are often misread. Care includes psychoeducation, monitoring for medication response, and coordinated referral to therapy when it would help.
ADHD
Comprehensive evaluation and evidence-based medication management for adolescents and adults. Evaluation includes a structured clinical interview and review of history; we don't rely on a single questionnaire. Treatment can include stimulant or non-stimulant medication, executive-function strategies, and referral for testing when a fuller neuropsychological picture would help.
Medication management
Thoughtful prescribing, monitoring, and adjustment with frequent check-ins. We start low, go slow when appropriate, and explain why — including what to expect, what side effects to watch for, and when to call. If you're already on medication and want a second opinion or want to taper, we can do that work together.
Trauma-informed care
Support for clients living with trauma history, including PTSD and complex trauma, delivered through a strengths-based lens. Care prioritizes safety, choice, and pacing. Medication can help with sleep, hyperarousal, and intrusive symptoms; for trauma-focused therapy (such as EMDR or prolonged exposure), we coordinate with a specialized therapist.
Life transitions
Relationship change, grief, occupational stress, perinatal adjustment, and other milestone moments. Sometimes what looks like depression or anxiety is a healthy nervous system responding to a hard situation. We sort out what's clinical, what's contextual, and what kind of support will actually help — which sometimes means medication, sometimes coaching, sometimes both.
What to expect
Initial intake
60 minutes
We start with a full conversation: your current concerns, what brought you in now, relevant history (medical, psychiatric, family, social), and what you're hoping for. By the end of the visit you'll leave with a working understanding of what's going on, a plan, and — if medication is part of the plan — a prescription sent to your pharmacy.
Follow-up
30 minutes
Follow-ups focus on how the plan is working — symptom changes, side effects, life context, and whether to adjust. Early in care, follow-ups are usually every 2–4 weeks; once you're stable, every 1–3 months. Extended 45-minute follow-ups are available when more time would help.
Honesty matters here. There are situations where a different setting or specialist will serve you better — and I'd rather tell you up front than waste your time.
Active crisis or emergencies
If you're in immediate danger to yourself or someone else, telehealth is not the right setting. Please call or text 988, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
Substance use disorders
Active addiction or substance use disorders requiring specialized treatment (detox, intensive outpatient, MAT programs) need a clinician with that specific training. I'm happy to help with referral.
Children under 6
Care for young children is best delivered by a pediatric specialist. I work with adolescents and adults.
Court-ordered evaluations
Forensic evaluations, custody evaluations, and disability/legal determinations require a forensic specialist and are outside the scope of this practice.
Book a consult and we'll figure it out together. If you'd be better served elsewhere, I'll point you in that direction.
